A Vegas trip from 30 years ago just made this Michigan man a millionaire

A Michigan man is $1 million richer, and it’s all because of his trip to Las Vegas nearly 30 years ago.

Stephen Huesgen of Fraser, Michigan, took a trip to Las Vegas about 30 years ago and while there he got a fortune from a Zoltar machine.

His fortune contained a set of lucky numbers that he’s been playing ever since.

Those lucky numbers are 24-29-32-49-6.

He played those lucky numbers, and they hit on the April 22 Powerball drawing.

Stephen recently went to Michigan Lottery Headquarters in Lansing to cash in his winning ticket.

While there he shared how he found out he was a big winner.

“The morning after the Powerball drawing, I saw an email from the Lottery, which is when I found out I’d won a $1 million Powerball prize. I yelled to my wife: ‘Is this real?’ I don’t think this is going to fully hit me until I cash the check!”

This lucky Michigan man isn’t the only person to win big playing the Michigan Lottery.

A man visiting Michigan from Maryland recently won $1,000,000 playing a Lucky Numbers instant win ticket.

A Bay County woman who had been playing Lotto 47 for 20 years with the same numbers hit it big and won $1.1 million.

And an Oakland County woman playing Fantasy 5 online accidentally selected a wrong number that resulted in her winning $250,000.
