Barrow residents wake up to £1,000 prize

Those with a lottery ticket and a LA13 0LS postcode, which covers Stank, were awarded a £1,000 win in Saturday’s Postcode Lottery prize draw.

Subscriptions to the postcode lottery supports a range of charities across the UK.

A minimum of 30 per cent of the ticket prices goes to charity.

The Postcode Lottery website states: “Not only do our players win cash prizes, but good causes also receive essential support.”

To date, they’ve raised more than £1.5billion in funding.
