Powerball Winning Numbers: Results for Saturday, August 29 drawing for $119 million jackpot

Powerball players have another chance to become multimillionaires on Saturday, August 29, with an estimated $119 million jackpot available in the latest drawing.

The winning numbers haven’t yet been drawn.

Saturday’s Powerball drawing is scheduled for 10:59 p.m. ET from the Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee.

Players choosing the cash option instead of the full annuity would receive an estimated $51.6 million before applicable federal and state taxes if they win the jackpot.

What are the Powerball winning numbers for August 29?

The official winning numbers for Saturday, August 29 will be announced after the 10:59 p.m. ET drawing.

Powerball officials will confirm five white ball numbers between 1 and 69, followed by one red Powerball between 1 and 26. The Power Play multiplier will also be revealed during the drawing.

Until then, the latest confirmed winning numbers are from Wednesday, August 26.

Those numbers were 12, 32, 45, 50 and 58, with Powerball 2. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.

Nobody matched all five white balls and the Powerball on Wednesday, allowing the jackpot to rise to an estimated $119 million for Saturday night.

There were also no Match 5 winners of the $1 million prize and no Match 5 plus Power Play winners of $2 million.

When is the next Powerball drawing?

Saturday’s drawing takes place at 10:59 p.m. ET, which is 9:59 p.m. CT, 8:59 p.m. MT and 7:59 p.m. PT.

Powerball drawings are held three times each week, every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Tickets cost $2 per play in most participating jurisdictions, although sales cutoff times vary and can occur one or two hours before the drawing.

To win the jackpot, a ticket must match all five white balls in any order as well as the red Powerball.

A jackpot winner can choose between the advertised $119 million annuity, paid through 30 graduated payments over 29 years, or the estimated $51.6 million cash option.

The official August 29 winning numbers will only be known once Saturday night’s drawing has taken place.
