Irish EuroMillions players are being urged to check their tickets from Friday night’s draw
The search is on to find Ireland’s newest millionaire after one lucky Irish player bagged a life-changing prize in Friday’s EuroMillions draw.
The punter bagged a whopping €1,005,000 as part of a promotional draw which guaranteed one of 10 Irish winners an extra €1 million on top of the €5,000.
As with every EuroMillions draw, 10 players will win €5,000 in the Ireland Only Raffle with their unique Raffle number – but on Friday, those 10 winning tickets were then entered into a once-off random draw where one ticket was selected to win an additional €1 million.
The winning raffle code was: I-VBD-36131.
The National Lottery is urging all EuroMillions players to check their tickets carefully as one player now has a lucky stub worth a life-changing amount.
The latest EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to keep it safe. They should make contact with our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize in Lottery HQ.
Lotto bosses are set to reveal the shop where the winning ticket, which is now worth €1,005,000, was sold later this weekend.
The lucky Ireland Only Raffle winner isn’t the only Irish player celebrating a huge cash windfall, as another punter matched five numbers in Friday’s main EuroMillions draw to bag €18,384.
The numbers called in Friday’s EuroMillions draw were: 10, 14, 15, 19, 45 and the Lucky Stars were 4 and 12.
Meanwhile, in Friday’s EuroMillions Plus draw, the numbers to look out for are: 5, 6, 20, 31 and 32.
