Powerball results for 08/22/26: Jackpot worth $69 million

The Powerball continues to grow as there was no winner of the $69 million jackpot for the drawing held on Saturday, Aug. 22. That means the drawing on Monday, Aug. 24 will be worth $81 million, with a cash option of $34.8 million.

• Along with no grand prize winner, no one matched five white balls to win $1 million.

• Ten players matched four white balls and the Powerball to win $50,000. Three of those players also played the Power Play option, which increased their winnings to $150,000. That was the largest prize won in the drawing.

• A total of 495,302 winning tickets were sold, with players winning a combined $4,113,506 in prizes.

Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. ET. Tickets cost $2 each.

Powerball is offered in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and the U.K. Players select five white numbers from 1 to 69 and one red ball from 1 to 26. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
