Thirteen Lotto players have won $25,851 each with Lotto Second Division.
Powerball hit $18 million after it went unstruck in Wednesday’s Lotto draw. However, three players won Lotto First Division – taking home a cool $333,333 each.
Those winning tickets were bought in Auckland, Katikati and Christchurch.
Ten players won $26,957 each with Lotto Second Division, and two of those players also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $36,084.
Earlier this week Lotto called for Auckland players to recheck their tickets, as a $20 million Powerball prize waits to be claimed.
The winning ticket was sold at Blockhouse Bay Postshop & Stationers more than three weeks ago, ahead of the $40m Powerball draw on July 25.
Lotto NZ’s head of corporate communications Will Hine said the multimillion-dollar prize will be a life-changing sum for the ticketholder.
“We’d love to get the money into the hands of its rightful owner as soon as possible so they can start planning their future,” Hine said in a statement.
“We usually hear from people pretty quickly after a big prize has been won but, in this case, it seems we need to give the winner a little nudge to check their ticket.”
