This Florida Lotto streak started on the 2026 July Fourth holiday after a ticket from a Fort Lauderdale Publix store won the Wednesday, July 1, 2026, drawing for $6.75 million.
After nine rollovers, the Florida Lotto jackpot climbed to $6 million for Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, and the winning numbers were 4-19-21-22-30-45. Double Play numbers were 2-6-10-12-44-50. Soon after, the Florida Lottery reset to $1 million, meaning there was a winner Wednesday night. The state lottery organization said the $6 million jackpot was “unclaimed at this time” as of Friday, Aug. 7.
The $6 million Florida Lotto win comes just over a week after the Mega Millions jackpot from Tuesday, July 28, 2026, resulted in a grand prize winner. The ticket-holder bought that winning match from a gas station in Florida for an estimated $803 million (see below).

Who sold $6 million Florida Lotto ticket in August 2026?
According to Florida Lottery online, 3B’s Sunoco, 5565 New Tampa Highway, Lakeland, Florida, sold the Quick Pick Florida Lotto ticket worth $6 million in the Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, drawing.
The floridalottery.com site states players have a 1 in 22,957,480 chance to match all six numbers whether the jackpot is $1 million or $36 million. Prizes range from $2 to the grand prize jackpot, which varies.
How long does $6 million Florida Lotto winner have to claim?
Prizes for Florida Lottery must be claimed within 180 days (six months) from the date of the drawing. To claim a single-payment cash option, a winner has within the first 60 days after the applicable draw date to claim it.
Does Florida Lottery reveal jackpot winners? Can you stay anonymous if you win Florida Lotto or Mega Millions?
According to Florida Lottery’s website, winners cannot remain anonymous: “Florida law mandates that the Florida Lottery provide records containing information such as the winner’s name, city of residence; game won, date won, and amount won to any third party who requests the information.”
