The 5 Dorset areas that scooped prizes in the Postcode Lottery last month

The subscription-based lottery aims to raise money for charities while offering cash prizes to households across the country.
Every day from Monday to Sunday, £1,000 prizes are given to 20 different postcodes around the UK.
Meanwhile, on Saturdays, players could win a share of £1 million (Millionaire Street).
Additionally, in every month except April and December, when the Postcode Millions prize takes place, every ticket in one winning postcode will win a guaranteed £250,000.
Postcode Lottery said: “If your postcode gets picked in the £250,000 prize, for example, every ticket in that postcode wins £250,000.
“Every day, there are £1,000 prizes to be won for every ticket in 20 postcodes.
“If you play with two tickets, you receive double the winning prize amount.”
Even more money could be won in April and December as Postcode Millions draws will take place, which will see millions of pounds shared by one lucky postcode sector.
Postcode Lottery adds: “A postcode sector is larger than a postcode.
“For example, for the postcode EH2 4ET, the postcode sector is EH2 4.
“In accordance with the Gambling Act 2005, the maximum amount that can be won by a single ticket is 10 per cent of draw proceeds up to a maximum of £500,000.”
A minimum of 33 per cent of each ticket goes to charity, and players have raised more than £1.7 billion for thousands of good causes such as Maggie’s, Alzheimer’s Society, Dogs Trust, Mind, and NSPCC.
