Live Mega Millions results for 07/17/26: $672 million jackpot on the line

LANSING, MI — The Mega Millions jackpot hasn’t been won in four months, leading to Friday night’s grand prize being worth an estimated $672 million. The cash option for the July `17 drawing is worth $293.3 million.

The last time the Mega Millions jackpot was won came on March 17 when a player in Ohio brought home a $20 million grand prize. Only two Mega Millions jackpots have been won in 2026, with the other winner coming in the March 10 drawing.

MLive will be providing live coverage of the tonight’s drawing, which is scheduled for 11 p.m. ET.

During the drawing it was announced that if no one wins tonight’s drawing, the drawing on Tuesday, July 21 would be worth an estimated $707 million.

Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Five balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70; the Mega Ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 24. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 290 million.

Mega Millions is played in 45 states, plus the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $5 each.
