New Jersey Player Wins $7.7 Million Pick-6 Jackpot via Jackpocket
Someone in New Jersey just won $7.7 million. They bought a Pick-6 ticket through Jackpocket on Saturday, July 11. All six numbers hit: 14, 17, 27, 31, 41, and 46.
Jackpocket.com handled the sale and will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winner. If taken as cash, the prize pays out $3,379,991.
“Congratulations to our newest Pick-6 jackpot winner,” New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey said in a statement, according to North Jersey.com. “We’re excited to meet the lucky winner and are always looking forward to who will win Pick-6 next!”
The winner purchased their ticket online from Bergen County using the app. Monday’s drawing starts fresh with a $2 million jackpot.
Pick-6 asks you to choose six numbers from 1 through 46. This version launched in April 2022. XTRA comes standard now.
Want another shot at winning? Double Play costs an extra dollar and could net you $250,000. Nobody matched all six white balls in Saturday’s Double Play: 03, 08, 18, 20, 29, and 38.
New Jersey has crowned several big winners lately. On July 9, Country Farms in Toms River sold a Jersey Cash 5 ticket worth $1,332,204. Family Drug Shops in Branchville sold a $1 million Powerball ticket on July 11.
Between July 6 and July 12, at least six Powerball tickets hit $50,000 or more. Super Stop & Shop in Bayonne sold one worth $100,000. Five other stores around the state sold $50,000 winners.
Time is running out on one unclaimed prize. A Jersey Cash 5 ticket bought at Quick Chek in Ringoes is worth $342,777 but expires July 19.
Back in 2001, someone in Clifton won the biggest Pick-6 jackpot ever — $48.9 million.
