$9.8M winning lottery ticket sold in Groton – The Ithaca Voice

ITHACA, N.Y. — A jackpot-winning ticket worth $9.8 million was sold in Groton in Saturday’s New York Lottery drawing. 

The single prize-winning ticket was sold at the Speedway at 202 Main Street, according to the New York Lottery.

The winner matched all six numbers to claim the top prize. Those numbers were 8, 13, 28, 35, 49 and 54. The bonus number was 16. 

The identity of the winner has not been released. The odds of winning the New York LOTTO jackpot are 1 in 45,057,474. 

If the winner chooses a lump sum, the jackpot has an estimated cash value of $5.1 million.
