Dong Haeng Lottery, the operator of the Lotto, announced the results of the 1,231st drawing Saturday. The bonus number for second prize was ’15.’

The 17 first-prize winners, who matched all six winning numbers, will each receive 1.652099 billion won.

Ninety-two second-prize winners, who matched five winning numbers plus the bonus number, will each receive 50.91 million won. The 3,329 third-prize winners, who matched five winning numbers, will each receive 1.41 million won.

There were 162,821 fourth-prize winners, who matched four winning numbers, with a fixed prize of 50,000 won each, and 2,686,693 fifth-prize winners, who matched three winning numbers, with a fixed prize of 5,000 won each.

Prize money must be claimed within one year from the start date of payment. If the final payment date falls on a holiday, winnings can be collected until the next business day.

First-prize winnings are paid at the main branch of NH NongHyup Bank. Second- and third-prize winnings can be collected at any NH NongHyup Bank branch, while fourth- and fifth-prize winnings can be received at Lotto retail outlets nationwide. However, regional NongHyup branches do not handle prize payments.

Prize money not claimed by the deadline reverts entirely to the lottery fund under the Lottery and Lottery Fund Act and is used to finance public interest projects.
