Wednesday’s Lotto results

The winning Lotto numbers were: 05, 24, 28, 46, 49 and 56 and the bonus number was 19. One player matched all the numbers to win £5,065,547, and three more people matched five of the six and the bonus to win £1m each.

Twenty-four people had five out of six main numbers for £1,750 each, and matching four of the six netted 2,380 a windfall of £140 each.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: “Wow, what a fantastic start to the year it’s been! A single player has banked the £5m jackpot in tonight’s draw. That makes it two huge Wednesday Lotto jackpot wins in a week after another lucky Lotto player landed the £13m ‘Must Be Won’ jackpot last Wednesday. If you’ve played, please check your tickets and get in touch if you think you’re a big winner.

“Playing any National Lottery game is about so much more than the chance to win – it’s about helping to make a real difference. Every week, players raise around £32M for projects that change lives across the UK.”
