The Mega Millions jackpot is climbing again, and California Lottery players have a shot at $368 million, lottery officials announced Friday.
The state’s other major draw game, SuperLotto Plus, is also gaining momentum after a run of early‑year winners:
-
March 28: Justiniano Trinidad won $10 million on a ticket purchased at a 7‑Eleven on Central Avenue in Fremont.
-
March 14: Judy Martinez claimed $10 million with a ticket bought at A&J Happy Hour on West Lincoln Avenue in Orange.
-
Feb. 28: Melvin Cook won $32 million with a ticket purchased at a Circle K on East Foothill Boulevard in Upland.
Mega Millions drawings take place Tuesdays and Fridays at 8 p.m., with ticket sales closing at 7:45 p.m.
Some California lottery winners not claiming prizes; unclaimed tickets add up to tens of millions
SuperLotto Plus drawings are held Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:57 p.m., also with a 7:45 p.m. cutoff.
A statewide draw break runs from 7:45 p.m. to 7:50 p.m., during which no ticket sales or validations can occur. Tickets purchased after 7:50 p.m. are entered into the next drawing.
Regardless of who wins, California schools remain the primary beneficiaries of Lottery revenue, with funds supporting educational programs statewide.
