Three Essex neighbourhoods scoop prizes in recent Postcode Lottery draws

People living in two different parts of Essex each won £1,000 during the People’s Postcode Lottery daily draws in recent days.

The People’s Postcode Lottery is a subscription lottery where players use their postcode to sign up and spend £12.50 a month.

Their tickets are automatically entered to win daily, weekly, and monthly prize draws.

Twenty postcodes win every day, with every ticket in those areas bagging the players £1,000.

The lottery also features larger weekly and monthly jackpots that can reach £250,000 or even multi-million-pound “Postcode Millions” prizes.

At least 30 per cent of the ticket price goes to charities and good causes all over Great Britain.

In the latest round of £1,000 daily prize draws, players in the following winning postcodes have each won £1,000 per ticket

• CO15 3EX – Clacton-on-Sea
• SS6 8NU – Rayleigh

As the lottery is postcode-based, neighbours in the same street often win at the same time.

This means that each ticket at a winning postcode will take the full advertised amount.
