A NYC resident just got $1M richer from a lottery ticket – AOL


STATEN ISLAND (PIX11) — A New York City resident is waking up a million dollars richer after the June 1 Powerball drawing.
The New York Lottery says the second prize–winning ticket sold for Monday’s drawing had a $1 million prize.
The lucky winner bought the ticket at the Naz Cards & Gifts Inc, located at 4346 Amboy Road, on Staten Island.
The winner beat a rare odd, according to the New York Lottery, the chances of winning the $1 million Powerball prize are 1 in 11,688,053.
Anyone who needs help or knows someone who may need help with gambling addiction or problem gambling can visit the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports website, call the 24-7 hotline 1-877-8-HOPENY or text 467369.
