Powerball player wins $230M jackpot in April 6 drawing — here’s where the ticket was sold

LANSING, MI — For the third time in 2026, a player has won the Powerball jackpot. On Monday, April 6, a player in Delaware matched all five white numbers and the red Powerball to win the $230.8 million jackpot.

The cash option for the prize is worth $104.9 million.

The last time a player won the Powerball jackpot was on March 2, when a player in Arkansas brought home a $250.8 million prize.

  • Along with the grand-prize winner, one player in Texas matched all five white numbers to win $1 million. That player also played the Power Play option, increasing their win to $2 million.
  • There were 415,212 players who won at least $4 in the drawing. In Michigan, 14,414 players won at least $4.
  • Five players in Michigan won $200 in the drawing. That was the largest prize won in the state.

Powerball is offered in 45 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Players select five white numbers from (1 to 69) and one red ball (1 to 26). Tickets cost $2 each.
