May 1 Lotto Max: $1 million win in Atlantic Canada, seven MaxPlus wins across Canada – Island Social Trends

There was no mega jackpot winner for the $60 million in the May 1, 2026 Lotto Max draw.

But one lucky ticketholder in Atlantic Canada won $1 million with the MaxMillion.

The winning set of May 1, 2026 MaxMillion numbers is 1, 3, 7, 16, 29, 36 and 39.

MaxPlus wins:

The MaxPlus is a new Lotto Max feature as of April 14, 2026.

In the May 1, 2026 draw seven people each won $100,000 with the MaxPlus.

One of those winners bought their ticket in Sidney, BC.

There were also two MaxPlus winners in Western Canada (prairie provinces), two in Ontario, one in Quebec and one in Atlantic Canada.

While these wins might not seem as exciting as a multi-million jackpot win, for many people a $100,000 boost would be significant — to pay down a mortgage, eliminate consumer debt, cover post-secondary educational expenses, or help with retirement.

The win at a level of $100,000 also comes with little to no fanfare, allowing winners to just get on with their lives.

Winning numbers:

Here are the May 1, 2026 Lotto Max main winning numbers: 09, 13, 15, 25, 27, 35, 52. Bonus 39.

The Extra winning numbers were 8, 25, 52, and 66.

No one won the $60 million jackpot and no one matched 6/7+. The biggest prize amount last night was $5,834.60 for each of 43 ticket holders who matched 6/7.

As well, 133 people each won $1,225.90 for matching 5/7+.

Winning the Extra:

There was no winner of the half-milllion dollar Extra prize in the May 1, 2026 draw.

The May 1, 2026 Extra produced 48 winners of $1,000 each for matching 3/4.

Next draw has a $65 million jackpot:

The next Lotto Max draw — coming up on Friday May 5, 2026 — has an estimated jackpot of $65 million.

There will be eight potential MaxMillion wins, and 65 potential MaxPlus prizes of $100,000 each.
