Bolton residents wake up to £1,000 postcode lottery surprise

The winning postcode, BL3 1RF, was announced as one of 20 Daily Prize winners across the UK on Tuesday, June 2.

Every ticket registered to the postcode is worth £1,000, meaning some players could take home even more depending on how many tickets they hold.

The People’s Postcode Lottery’s Daily Prize rewards players in selected postcodes every day, with winning areas chosen at random.

The Little Lever win puts Marsh Road among a handful of communities nationwide sharing in the latest round of prizes.

A spokesperson for People’s Postcode Lottery said: “Congratulations to all our winners. Each winning ticket is worth £1,000 in today’s Daily Prize.”

The lottery, which raises money for charities and good causes across the UK, announces Daily Prize winners every weekday.
