Eutelsat 36B (some time ago Eutelsat W7) is a correspondences satellite in the W Series worked by Eutelsat. It is co-situated with Eutelsat’s 36A satellite at 36°E. It was propelled on November 23, 2009 14:19 GMT, by a Proton rocket.
Made by Thales Alenia Space in its Cannes Mandelieu Space Center, in light of a Spacebus 4000C4 stage, it highlights up to 74 Ku band transponders (12 kW), a weight of around 5.5 tons, and has a lifetime of around 15 years (up to 2024).
